Where It Started
The idea for Four Barrel started in 2017 while enjoying the San Diego beaches with my family. I came across a surf brand with a T-shirt design that really stood out to me, and I remember thinking, why isn't there a classic car brand with that same kind of simple, recognizable style?
There were automotive brands out there, but I couldn't think of one that captured classic car culture in quite the same way. I wanted to create something that felt more like a lifestyle brand—simple, recognizable, and made for car guys.
I also wanted Four Barrel to be universal in the classic car world, no matter what you drive. Classic car culture is bigger than any one make. It's about the cars, the builds, the stance, the wheels, the details, and the people who appreciate them.
The name came together pretty quickly. I immediately thought of a four-barrel carburetor—something found across all makes and right at home in the world of classic cars. From there came the name Four Barrel and the logo—four simple circles representing the top view of a four-barrel carburetor.
Simple, recognizable, and rooted in classic car culture.
That's Four Barrel.
